Making a difference, year one achievements
In just one year, Sri Lanka Street Dog Welfare has achieved significant milestones thanks to the dedication of our supporters and team. We have successfully spayed around 50 dogs, preventing countless unwanted litters and reducing suffering. Our efforts have also included treating numerous dogs with serious injuries, predominantly from road accidents, and providing vital vaccination programmes. We rescued 9 newborn puppies and their mother from the streets, providing them with a safe start to life and are vaccinating and neutering them. Furthermore, we've tackled prevalent health conditions such as mange and tick infestations, significantly improving the quality of life for many dogs.
